This electronic module is a versatile interface between an incremental optical encoder output and any type of receiving electronics. This can be used to fix incompatible interfaces and make marginal signals more robust. It can also serve as a signal repeater for long cable runs and provide multiple distributed control signals from a single encoder.

Standard Features Include

1 MHz throughput capability
Din rail mount package
Accepts quadrature, index and complementary inputs
Can daisy-chain up to 8 sets of encoder inputs

Your Choice of:

Encoder input voltage ranges: 5 = 5 VDC, 15 = 12-15 VDC, 24 = 24 VDC)
Voltage/Output: 28V/V = 5-28VDC in, Vout = Vin; 28V/5 = 5-28VDC in, Vout = 5 VDC; 28V/OC=Open Collector, 5-28VDC in, OC out
